Refund, Return & Cancellation Policy
At The Missing Sock (TMS), we strive to provide a seamless and enjoyable photography experience. Please review our policies carefully before making a purchase. By completing a transaction with us, you acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined below.
A1. 7-DAY SATISFACTION GUARANTEE
We offer a 7-day, 100% satisfaction guarantee for Picture Day purchases. Within two business days after Picture Day, customers receive a private online gallery with previews of their edited images. You will have a 5-day window to select your favorite images and finalize your pre-paid order.
📌 How It Works:
1️⃣ 2 Business Days After Picture Day: You’ll receive a private online gallery with preview images.
2️⃣ 5-Day Proofing Period: You must select your favorite images before the gallery closes.
3️⃣ If Unsatisfied: You can request a full refund within 7 days of Picture Day.
4️⃣ After Proofing Closes: Refunds are still possible, but processing fees apply (see A2 below).
5️⃣ After 30 Days: All sales are final, and refunds are no longer available.
📌 Important:
- Online galleries for Picture Day, school events, and other sessions remain available for six months from the date of creation.
- TMS does not store images indefinitely but may retain some files for quality control and legal compliance.
A2. REFUND & CREDIT POLICY

Exceptions:
- Once a digital file is downloaded, it is non-refundable due to its nature.
- Additional fees (e.g., Extra Child, Sibling Fee, Pose Perfection, Extra Poses Fee, Special Retouch) are non-refundable after Picture Day.
- Credits are valid for one year and are subject to product pricing and availability changes.

🚸 Missed Picture Day & No Photos Taken
If your child was absent, unable to participate, or the photographer was unable to capture their photo, you have the following options:
- Full refund OR
- Credit for a future Picture Day (valid for one year).
- If a Retake Day is available, you may reschedule at no additional cost.
🔄 Retakes for Unsatisfactory Photos
Under certain circumstances, we offer a Retake Day at the end of each season for customers who were not satisfied with their Picture Day results.
📍 Retake Details:
- Retakes take place at either at Midtown Miami or Hallandale Photo Studio.
- The exact location will be confirmed by TMS before scheduling.
- A non-refundable entry fee of $30 applies in addition to your ordered package.
- Sessions are by appointment only, and each child is allocated a 10-minute slot.
⏳ No-Show Policy:
- If you miss your scheduled retake appointment, we cannot guarantee another slot and will not issue refunds.
- If TMS cancels a retake day, you may receive a full refund or full credit at our discretion.
For Mini Session reschedules or cancellations:
- Up to 15 days before the session → 100% refund or 100% credit
- 3 to 7 days before the session → 80% refund or 90% credit
- Less than 3 days before the session → No refund, 90% credit
If TMS cancels a Mini Session, customers will receive a full refund or full credit.
📌 Note: Mini Session galleries remain available for six months from the creation date.
D1. Cancellations & Rescheduling by the Client
- Up to 15 days before the session → 90% refund (TMS retains 10% for processing) or 100% credit
- 7 days before the session → We will attempt to reschedule. If not possible, the above cancellation policy applies.
- Within 7 days of the session → All sales are final (no refunds or immediate reschedules), but a 100% credit may be issued.
- Photographer changes are considered cancellations and follow the same policy.
D2. Cancellations by The Missing Sock
If we must cancel a confirmed session, we will:
- Attempt to reschedule OR
- Offer a full refund OR
- Provide a credit for a future session
📌 Note: Private session galleries remain available for one year.
All images are copyrighted by The Missing Sock. Customers may not use purchased images for commercial purposes. If you choose to print your images externally, we recommend using a professional printing lab to ensure the best quality. The Missing Sock is not responsible for color discrepancies or printing errors that may occur with third-party printing services.
The Missing Sock reserves the right to update or modify these policies at any time without prior notice. Customers should review our Refund and Return Policy before making a purchase.
